By creating an account or using Maistiqo, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Maistiqo is a tool for tracking your own nutrition, planning meals, and getting AI-generated suggestions. It is NOT medical advice. Calorie + macronutrient estimates are approximate. The AI Coach is for information only and is not a substitute for a registered dietitian, doctor, or other healthcare professional. Do not use Maistiqo to diagnose, treat, or manage any medical condition without consulting a qualified practitioner.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Share access at your own risk. You may not use the service if you are under 16, or if you have been previously banned. You may create one personal account. Operating multiple accounts to evade quotas or feature gates is grounds for suspension.
You retain full ownership of recipes, meals, and other content you create. When you publish a recipe to the public catalog, you grant Maistiqo a non-exclusive licence to display it within the app to other users. You can unpublish at any time, but copies already saved to other users' libraries remain in those libraries. Do not publish content you don't have the right to share, content that's defamatory, illegal, or harmful, or content that promotes unsafe diets (extreme calorie restriction, "detox" claims with no scientific basis, etc.). We reserve the right to remove published recipes that violate these standards.
Maistiqo offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan. The features included in each plan are shown in the app and may change with reasonable notice. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store and billed to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Use — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Trials granted on signup or via promo codes convert to the free plan when they expire and never auto-charge a payment method.
Don't: • Try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service. • Use the AI Coach for purposes other than personal nutrition advice (e.g. don't use it as a generic chatbot for unrelated tasks). • Impersonate other users, create fake accounts, or use someone else's identity. • Upload malware, illegal content, or content that violates someone else's rights. We reserve the right to suspend accounts engaged in any of the above.
Maistiqo has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. By using the community features (public recipes, reviews, the leaderboard, public profiles) you agree not to post content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable. Every user can: • Report objectionable content — a “Report” control is available anywhere another user's content is shown. • Block a user — a blocked user's content is hidden from you, and yours from them. When we receive a report we review it and, within 24 hours, remove violating content and remove or ban the responsible users. By posting content you agree to these terms.
The AI Coach is powered by large language models which can occasionally produce inaccurate or inappropriate output. Always exercise independent judgment, especially for anything affecting your health. Do not act on AI-generated medical, dietary, or pharmaceutical recommendations without verifying with a qualified professional. When the AI Coach uses tools like "log_meal_from_recipe" or "log_water" on your instruction, the resulting changes to your account are final unless you reverse them manually.
We strive for high availability but make no SLA guarantees on the free plan. Scheduled maintenance or unexpected outages may temporarily prevent access. Your data is preserved and accessible again as soon as service resumes.
To the extent permitted by law, Maistiqo's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or zero if you're on a free plan). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, or health outcomes you attribute to using the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited (e.g. for fraud or wilful misconduct).
You can terminate by deleting your account at any time (Profile → Security → Delete my account). We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these Terms, after notice where reasonable. On termination, the rights you granted us with respect to published content end, but copies that other users have already saved remain in their libraries.
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date counts as acceptance of the new terms.
